We had afternoon tea, the cakes were plates of cakes all very nice, but not really what you expect for an afternoon tea. The service was nice and friendly a table arrived with small children and the noise level increased significantly. However, a beautiful place and service. View all feedback.

The only thing going for this place was the historic setting. No wonder the restaurant was empty!! The food was mediocre and the surcharge as a non resident for a very tough steak was not at all clearly indicated of the menu! Not a proper statement ,just a small easily missed letter. One member of staff who seemed pained to be serving. Booked this in advance looking forward to a good meal wish I had chosen elsewhere!... View all feedback.
