Was dan at Edgar a mag?
Good products, especially pastries and sandwiches. The pastries are not great. Delicious rings even if a little expensive for size. I put 5 stars for the customer service always adorable, pleasant, vivid, and smiling. So bravo! View all feedback.
My husband and I stopped here for bread and sweets for breakfast and all of it was fabulous. I have had Apple turnovers my whole life but the one had had at Edgar was absolutely the best! We had chocolate and custard croissants and a berry crumble tart. All were outstanding! I would go here every morning if I lived in Avignon.
Yummy display of foods, I could have eaten everything! I had the Little Italy bagel which was delicious and reasonably priced. I just wished there was a seating area.
During our four day stay in Avignon, we found Edgar to be the best breakfast choice in Avignon center for freshly baked croissants and brioches. They have the additional distinction of being one of the few places open in Avignon at 7:00 AM (even opening before McDonald's across the street). They also serve coffee so you can make Edgar your one stop shop for breakfast.Sandwiches were also excellent.I much prefer Edgar to its nearby rival, Marie Blacher, The staff was particularly friendly, making an effort to understand my high school level French.
There are lots of choices, we chose a chicken cheddar burger and a mozzarella and tomato burger. It was too good.
