Stayed in the hotel and had a course meal in the restaurant. The whole atmosphere was really relaxing and enjoyable. this restaurant is missing. eating is not good. the price is expensive. the best at this restaurant is the place, with good and beautiful view over the aveiro estuary. but if they want to eat well, it's not the place. View all feedback.

I strongly recommend it to everyone! the service was excellent and the vegan option absolutely fantastic and well made, the restaurant has a wonderful view that adds another plus point to the overall experience
With a great view over the lake of Ria de Aveiro, and watching the colorful boats navigating the canal, 'De Lago ' restaurant was a perfect choice to have lunch in Melia Ria Hotel on the first day. Chestnut soup with bits of lobster was simply appetizing, needs a bit of salt though. As friendly and very helpful Ines Oliviero laid out the main dish of duck, I was quite impressed with the food presentation. The orange sauce gave the dish a flavorful twist! The finale was the savory ice cream with ovo moles very good dessert to end a top notch meal. Had another incredibly tasty food when my husband opted to have dinner on our last day at Melia Ria. Quite a wait however for the food to come this time, but greatly compensated by the very delicate and rich flavors of our main dishes. Hats off to Chef Ricardo who served us the food! Highly recommended for food enthusiasts.
