I always prefer the cheese bread to the actual pizza but if you do order the vegan cheese topping I suggest you go with extra crispy because the cheese can be a bit... sticky? And gross in your mouth if it’s not cooked thoroughly.
I went to the 6th street location. I’ve been vegan nearly 2 years now and this was the best pizza I’ve ever had since. I feel like I’ve done an injustice by not taking a picture of the bottom. It had the most golden and crispy crust. Just thinking about it gives me nostalgia and I ate it less than 20 mins ago. It was delectable. I’m only in town for a few days but I’ll definitely be back. I fell in love with Via 313 the first time I tried their four-cheese Detroit-style pizza. Then, I discovered the Kadillac pizza, and I loved it just as much. Now, those two are my favorites, and I appreciate that I can get half of each. The flavor and crust are truly unique. I've had a few experiences where the pizza came out a bit soggy or not crispy enough, but since I've had more positive experiences than negative, I decided to go back, and they knocked it out of the park. I’m not a huge fan of the other menu items; I've tried a few appetizers, and they didn't impress me. The service can be slow during peak hours, but overall, the staff is attentive and courteous.
First off all, friendly service. Very welcoming. I had the Detroit pizza for the first time. It did not disappoint. The crust was crunchy on The edges and soft in the middle. The sauce was delicious and the pepperoni was spicy. So much flavor! It wasdelicious. I would definitely recommend.
Best gluten free cheese bread, pizza, and cinnamon sticks we?ve ever found, and we?ve been researching for years. Absolutely great team of waitresses and managers. All very knowledgeable about food allergies and super nice. A true Austin gem.
