This was our first visit to the restaurant, and we are so pleased we decided to check it out after reading the great reviews. We had a fantastic dinner tonight at Monger's Market Kitchen! The gumbo was the best we've ever had, and their signature red snapper was absolutely amazing. Be sure to try the Brussels sprouts—they're a must on the menu! We came early and chose to sit at the bar, where the service was exceptional. Our experience was truly enjoyable, and we will definitely be coming back!
Monger's Market Kitchen offers a charming atmosphere and fresh seafood. However, the lobster roll, priced at $44, had a surprisingly small portion of lobster, which was disappointing. The wine list also left much to be desired. On a positive note, the olive oil cake was quite enjoyable. Despite having visited several times before, this experience with the lobster roll has deterred me from returning. I cannot recommend this restaurant.
