Was cen Z at Comida- Stanley a mag?
The vibe of this restaurant is out of this world; the whole place is decorated in a Japanese theme and it is very detailed. The food was great, and best of all, they have a robot that the waiters use to help them serve food. Our food took a while to come out but I hope that just means it’s cooked clean. Booked an early dinner, wanted to check this place out for a while. Having read some of the reviews, I was a little reluctant, but we were promptly seated. Ordered drinks, the bar was a little slow, but nothing to complain about. My wife ordered the steak salad, which was good. I ordered the prime burger and sweet potato fries and a salad. Service was not very good.. we were the only ones outside and fell kind of forgotten. Waitress brought the bill w/o asking if we wanted something else, which we did.
Thought food was mediocre as we both had salads. Nothing wow and we both commented and how Spicey the salad was. Server kept rushing us to order and did not realize we were a business meeting
We enjoyed our lunch at Comida on Friday. We were seated promptly and because it was so hot outside, our reservation on the patio was easily changed to a booth inside. My cocktail arrived quickly as did the guacamole and chips. We did have to return a chipped water glass. Then our server seemed to be swamped before she could return for the rest of our order. We wondered if she were the only server on the floor but later saw others. She was doing double duty as both a server and a bar tender. The food (enchiladas, quesadilla) was very good and the serving size generous. Was the guac house made? It didn't seem like it. Our only hesitation about Comida is the black and dark grey paint on the walls. It seems so gloomy. Maybe this decor trend will pass and the gloom can be easily remedied.
Kid-friendliness: The kids loved the bento box, especially the robot cat that brought our food to the table!
I came in and had the pork belly rice bowl tonight. That was one of the best meals i have had all year. So balanced. I loved the sweet pickled veggies with the savory pork. Delicious food. Thank you.
