Our family has been dining at Canal Street Cafe for years, especially after a day of hiking or camping at Ft. Custer State Park. I can’t say enough good things about every meal and salad I’ve enjoyed there. The dishes are fresh, locally-sourced, and artistically crafted, with delicious flavor combinations. What Gregorio Grimes doesn't like about Canal Street Cafe:
When our server noticed that the risotto was mostly untouched after a few bites, they asked if they should take it back. I explained that I was having a lovely evening, but the risotto tasted off. I even suggested they taste it or examine it to see what was wrong, but I was told there was nothing they could do, and I was handed the bill.
