Was maury zanfretta at Article 14 a mag?
The restaurant was quiet when we were there with a European ambiance. The wait staff was excellent and very knowledgeable. The food was excellent and abundant. There are many small plates as well as entrees. There are many varied and interesting choices. Highly recommend View all feedback.
What Isobel Marquardt dislikes about Article 14:
When we arrived, no one was at the front of the restaurant to greet us, and it took a while to get someone to take our orders. It also took a whole to get our food and drinks. And, the place wasn't crowded at all. There were probably people in the restaurant, and more than half already had their food. Once we spoke to one of the waitstaff about the slow service, the problem was corrected, but until we asked for an ex... View all feedback.
I'm always on the lookout for midtown restaurants near the Woodruff Arts Center, and there are no shortage of options. What is in short supply is a location where it's possible to carry on relaxed conversation in almost a serene environment. Article fit the bill. The food was great, the service excellent, and I would definitely go back that is, if I could. Unfortunately, my first dining opportunity at Article will also be my last because the restaurant shut down operations at that location on Feb That's sad because the restaurant had a unique ambiance in a cool location.
Nice for a business lunch or lunch In general. Dinner is also great and the service is always superb.
Had dinner before the Symphony based on another review. Great little find. Valet parking or self parking in the deck that validates for several hours. At the end of the night, we only owed And, since we weren't parked in ASO parking deck, we got out quickly! Food was good. Not the best in Atlanta, but a solid choice. Our waitress was friendly and split our salad for us in the back instead of having us share a plate. Sometimes it's the small things. Great whiskey/bourbon list!
We were disappointed with our experience here. Our main complaint is that the restaurant tries to put too many table in. We had three tables across a very small area and could hear everything the table on our right and the one on our left said. The noise level generally was high, and we were quite uncomfortable being so close to other diners. We were there for brunch, and the grits were excellent. The hamburger was good, but the fries were disappointing. There was an error in one of the orders, and the server immediately corrected the mistake, but it took a long time to get the correct order. I was finished with my meal by the time my husband got his correct order. The server handled it well, but the kitchen was very slow. The food wasn't so good that it would be worth trying this restaurant again.

And, the place wasn't crowded at all. There were probably people in the restaurant, and more than half already had their food. Once we spoke to one of the waitstaff about the slow service, the problem was corrected, but until we asked for an explanation of why everything was taking so long, we had plans to leave. It all worked out, but this place needs to be mindful that service on Sunday afternoons is just as important as dinner service.
