I visited the restaurant for a Sunday brunch and opted to sit at the bar. The service was both attentive and friendly. The host who welcomed me was very friendly and inviting. My waitress was fantastic as well! The food was outstanding—don’t miss the cornbread with guava butter; it was incredibly delicious! I even wanted to take some home. The fried snapper was lightly fried with a nice crispy coating and perfectly seasoned. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because I was surprised to see an automatic gratuity included on my bill. I always tip, but I prefer to decide the amount myself. I didn’t complain since the service and food were excellent, but I wish this had been made clear upfront. This was the only restaurant I visited in Atlanta that added the tip automatically; where I’m from, gratuity is only added for parties of five or more. I also had a bit of a chuckle when I saw the receipt—it offered tipping options of 18%, 20%, and 25%, yet they had added 20% themselves. Why include the 18% option if you’re going to charge 20% automatically?
Visited Apt 4b for Sunday brunch and chose to sit at the bar. The service was warm and attentive. The Caribbean fusion menu was lively, with partygoers celebrating birthdays and a great crowd. DJ Boogie Luv was spinning old school hits from the ’70s to the 2000s, creating an amazing vibe! Unfortunately, my stuffed French toast was disappointing—it tasted overly fried, and the cream and syrup lacked sweetness. Yuck! My friend enjoyed her shrimp and grits, so it might be worth returning to try something else. Five stars for the atmosphere, three for the food.
From the valet to the restaurant staff, everyone at Apt 4b provided warm, vibrant, and friendly service. Our server, Sapphire, was exceptionally accommodating and genuinely one of the kindest waitresses we've met in a long time. We tried the turkey wings, oxtail hummus, oxtail pasta, and short rib with tamarind glaze. The turkey wings stood out as the best dish, with the oxtail hummus a close second. However, I’m rating it 3 stars because the portions were quite small for the price. I might give their brunch a try sometime, but overall, the portions definitely need to be larger.
We truly enjoyed our experience here! We celebrated our anniversary and Briana took great care of us. The aesthetics, the playlist, the food, the service! All of it was great. I’m looking forward to going back enjoying the DJ 9pm til close

However, my friend absolutely loved her sheep and grits, so I might consider coming back to try something else. I’d rate the atmosphere a five and the food a three.
