Visitors found the experience very enjoyable, with some even receiving free drinks from the owner. The food is fantastic, especially the chicken curry. Despite only accepting cash, the warmth and hospitality of Dan's bar make it a must-visit in Athenry, Ireland.

Was Anonym at Dan's a mag?
During a road trip, we stopped for lunch at this restaurant. The food was average but satisfactory, and the pints were enjoyable. The service was slightly better than expected, however, adding some background music could have enhanced the overall atmosphere. View all feedback.

Lovely restaurant with lovely servers, I believe their name is Hurrying. This would be a perfect spot for a group of friends looking for a fun night out. I will definitely be returning. View all feedback.

Used to go here with my Dad for lunch, cosy, busy, very friendly, love the food, highly recommend to anyone who wants a day off cooking
It might have been the time of day but I am 53 and I felt like the youngest person there by far. It is a nice pub and I will return. The Guinness was good and the food was good. A worthwhile stop. The bartender and the chef were very friendly and welcoming.
