At the W Hotel's 39 Degrees restaurant, diners are treated to a vibrant ambiance featuring modern decor, attentive service, and a lively DJ. However, experiences can be hit-or-miss, particularly regarding food quality and timing. While standout dishes like fried cauliflower and expertly cooked salmon have received praise, other offerings have fallen flat, with reports of overcooked and undercooked meals. Prices are viewed as steep considering the inconsistent food quality. Ultimately, the venue shines as a stylish cocktail bar, ideal for après-ski enjoyment, but guests may want to consider their dining options carefully before a visit.

Chef Torres took the time to come out and speak on the special plate menu and it was overall a lovely experience. Would absolutely recommend. I will certainly look for more special menus by him. View all feedback.
What IliI dislikes about 39 Degrees:
Hard to understand waiter. Very limited menu. One dish with meat was labeled vegetarian. And some dishes that were vegetarian were not labeled as so. We pointed this out to the waiter who said it was a new menu and he guessed there were mistakes. View all feedback.
Eating was absolutely terrible. our entrée received before our appetizers, risotto was similar to undercooked heel flakes with uncooked garlic, barata salat was unusable.
Very bad experience in every sight. given all the wonderful options in aspen with strongly recommend that an empty one of these places. we ordered main courses and suppe for all three diners. it took a long time until the suppe came, but when it did, we didn't even bite three when another waiter brought out all our main courses while we still had full suppen dishes before us. I mention that the timing with the distance could be better and there was no excuse. there was no offer to take the main courses away and to bring them back later, only dazzling looks of confusion. my main course was of different temperatures with a part of the sweet, still cold, and the meat lukewarm, so none of it was tasty. Finally, $230 is overpriced for three bowls suppe and three marginal main courses, also for aspen. ajax tavern is a much better choice, such as kenichi, matsuhisa, cache cache, etc.
As last minute reservation was ok. it is not really a restaurant, but a part of the hotel bar. the service was slow, although the place was not busy. the glasses on the table where they sat us were already used. if you move to another table, the same. the small plates we had were good.
I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. The waiter was extremely attentive, and the food was outstanding.
