Delicious breakfast, very fresh with quality ingredients. Brown toast was made with soda bread, which doesn't taste as good toasted, but again was very fresh. Like a lot of places in Ashbourne, a good spot that could do with more space! View all feedback.
What Wavey-David Cowpar dislikes about Corks:
Came here with some friends for brunch after a birthday party. My boyfriend and I ordered the French toast, he with pancetta and maple syrup, me with cream and fruit. The cream and fruit was delicious. But the French toast, described on the menu as Brioche turned out to be brioche burger buns dipped in the egg mixture and cooked. We were hungry so we ate it but in no way is being served two burger buns worth €10. View all feedback.
Found this wee gem on TripAdvisor on a Sunday morning and called them to see if they could take 8 people, and they gladly took a reservation for 30 minutes later. Everyone cleared their plate and we enjoyed their different menu approach with homemade bread, sausages and pudding, even bread for the kids toast. One of the kids would have loved pancakes (not on the menu), but I can’t mark you down for that! Thanks Folks
I was treated to a scrumptious lunch by my super friend in Corks Cafe and Wine Bar! I had to say to the lovely ladies on duty that day what a gorgeous meal they had served us both! We polished off everything on our plates shamelessly! So easy to get to, in a lovely corner spot in Ashbourne well within walking distance of the free Multi storey Parking on the High Street. Definitely look forward to returning when next I'm in town!
Cosy spot to pop In for coffee, wine and food for yourself or company I had the soup with two big nice slices of brown bread it was delicious I would have to come back again to try other food but from looking across the tables it looks good I also had a lovely cappuccino where the coffee dose not disappoint Service was great the staff are very accommodating and kind , giving a lovely atmosphere
Corks is a true hidden treasure. Their breakfasts are outstanding, offering a variety of delicious dishes that all look incredible. The staff are very welcoming, and the ambiance is calm and inviting. I would give it a perfect 10/10.
