Caballo Tavern - Arrey

What David L likes about Caballo Tavern:
If you like a rustic old west style ' tavern, this is it. The servers are very friendly and attentive and the prices are moderate $3-4.00 for a beer). It is clean, even the restroom, and big enough for lots of people. There 's a fireplace to cuddle around and tables, plus a long, old wooden bar. From I-25 take exit 59 and go east about 2 miles. What Armando Villa doesn't like about Caballo Tavern:
It's great that this restaurant is conveniently located near both Caballo Lake and Percha Dam State Parks. I visited on a Saturday afternoon around 2 PM with my dog Michi. The establishment was empty and quite dark inside. I asked if Michi could come in, and the bartender directed me to the covered patio outside.
