Grace Neill is a beloved pub with a mix of reviews. While some patrons have praised the attentive staff, delicious menu, and cozy atmosphere, others have encountered some issues. A flooded table during dinner led to a problematic situation that was only partially resolved by management. Despite this, the Sunday roast and seafood chowder continue to receive high praise. Overall, Grace Neill seems to offer a mixed experience, but with highlights such as their gluten-free options and fantastic staff, it remains a popular spot for locals and visitors alike.
There are many choices available at this restaurant. I decided to order the fish and chips, and it was delicious.
The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious, and they also have a dog-friendly beer garden where you can order food. They offer a variety of vegetarian, pescatarian, and gluten-free options that are clearly marked on the menu and online. I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty my salt and pepper chicken with sweet potato fries was. Despite it being a small pub, I had no issues with gluten contamination. I couldn't have asked for better food and will definitely be returning and recommending it to others.
We had a lovely evening in their restaurant. The food was excellent, and the service outstanding. What wonderful staff, very efficient and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you, especially to Kaya (hope I've spelt his name correctly! who was our server for the night. Highly recommended and looking forward to the next time
We came here for Christmas dinner, and to be frank, we were a bit let down. The starters were all delicious, but many of us in our group ordered steaks for the main course and found them to be very fatty. It would have been understandable if it was just one steak, but unfortunately, all of them were like that. We decided not to mention it on Christmas Day to avoid causing a scene, but when paying premium prices for a holiday meal, we expected better quality. It might not be the chef's fault, perhaps the butcher needs to be changed. Despite the issue with the steaks, everything else was perfect.
We always enjoy delicious food at this restaurant. The service is excellent, with friendly staff and great value for the price.
