Menu
A complete menu of Sai Ram Indian Cuisine from Appleton featuring all 87 menus and drinks can be found here on the menu.
Nestled in Appleton, Sai Ram is a destination that elicits mixed reactions. While some guests rave about its exceptional flavors, generous portions, and welcoming service, others find the dishes lacking the vibrant spices characteristic of Indian cuisine. Highlights include a diverse menu catering to both vegetarians and those averse to spice, alongside a friendly atmosphere. However, there have been notable service hiccups, such as delays and miscommunication regarding naan bread orders. For both seasoned Indian food lovers and newcomers alike, Sai Ram offers a tantalizing experience worth exploring, even if competition in the area is strong.

What R P E dislikes about Sai Ram Indian Cuisine:
This was my first experience with Sai Ram. I found the food to be rather uninspiring with little to no flavor. I tried the chicken Chennai, which had good texture, but was essentially flavorless. The Naan-bread was good as it is expected to be. I also thought the potato Pacora’s were decent, but still lacked flavor. Overall, rather disappointed, being Indian food, is really all about the flavor and combination of spi... View all feedback.
Food was rushed not fresh. Chicken was served in huge chunks. We was very disappointed

I’ve been going to Sai Ram ever since they stopped doing the lunch buffet and when the original owners were still there. The lunch buffet was an awesome deal and the food was always delicious. I regret not going there more often when they were still doing it. Anyways, I digress. I’ve gone to Sai Ram a few times now since the new owners took over and I’m glad the food and price is still the same. The restaurant has a darker atmosphere due to the dim lights and dark colors of the wall. You have the option of booth or table. No bar/bar seating although they do serve alcoholic beverages. The décor is very Indian theme as you would expect and you can enjoy Indian music as you dine in. The restaurant is on the smaller end and be prepared to wait during prime dinner times. Especially on weekends. I’ve never experienced issues with the wait staff here. They usually get to you in a timely manner, check on you if you have questions about the menu or just to see how everything is going once you get your food. The length it takes to get your food can vary depending on how busy the restaurant is but the wait is no longer than 20-30 minutes for the main course at least. Appetizers and drinks are served pretty quick. The dish I always get is the chicken makhani or known as butter chicken and comes served with basmati rice. Its tandoori chicken cooked in puree of tomatoes, spices, and other ingredients creating an orange creamy colored sauce. The dish is very aromatic and buttery hence the name. It can be spicy or mild based on your preference but I usually do spicy. Naan is a must when eating here. It compliments any dish and is usually eaten in a traditional Indian meal. It’s so good dipped into the sauce. I’ve tried many of the other dishes as well and you can’t go wrong with anything here really. They have a variety of Indian beverages and imported Indian beer. They do have domestics and craft beer as well. All of the alcoholic beverages are bottled or can. No beer on tap here. Wine is also on the menu. I’ve had one of the non-alcoholic beverage but I wasn’t a huge fan. It was the mango lassi which I believe is supposed to be a milk shake. However, it was really runny. Overall, this is definitely a place to try out if you are in the Fox Valley area. The food and staff is excellent.
Some of the best Indian out there anywhere. They really know what they're doing with balancing spices which puts them over the top. The inside is gorgeous and the staff is friendly. Their front door can be comically hard to open due to a constant suction from what I assume is the kitchen fans. We get a craving for sai ram at least once a month, it warms your soul.
