Given our time constraints, we didn't want to wait for them to remake the steaks. The waitress apologized and offered a discount, which I accepted. However, when the bill arrived, no discount was applied. I asked about it and was told that since we didn't have the steaks remade, we wouldn't receive one. I found this very disappointing. I absolutely love this restaurant! I've dined here at least a dozen times, and while the old location had a more intimate atmosphere that I preferred, the quality of the food remains exceptional. I've never had a meal that I didn't thoroughly enjoy. The appetizers are fantastic, including oysters, goat cheese, ceviche, and feta cheese. The tomahawk ribeye and the rack of lamb are outstanding as well. The drinks are crafted with care and consistently hit the mark. I would give it five stars, but during my most recent visit, they were out of ingredients for two of their five signature drinks and also ran out of the tomahawk ribeye, which I usually order. Overall, it's a great place and definitely one of the top five restaurants in the Appleton area worth visiting.
This is one of my favorite restaurants. They offer delicious, made-to-order dishes using fresh ingredients. As with most establishments that focus on quality, it can be a bit pricey, but it’s definitely worth it. The staff is excellent, the wine selection is impressive, and the atmosphere is elegant and sophisticated. There aren’t many upscale dining options in Appleton, so if you’re looking for a fantastic meal and want to avoid chain restaurants, this is the place to enjoy steak or fresh fish. They also have delightful appetizers and desserts, so make sure to come with an appetite!
I ordered the steak, which turned out to be tough and filled with gristle and tendons. While dining, a fellow business owner came in with his wife and was seated at the table next to us. His steak was just as disappointing as mine! His wife ordered the tuna, which also raised some concerns. The server mentioned they could reheat it, but they decided to just finish their meal as it was. I truly hope management addresses these issues, as this restaurant has the potential to be a wonderful gem once again.
Excellent steaks and exquisite menu. Lots of wine and specialty drinks to choose from. All of the appetizers and desserts sounded amazing. We had the goat cheese app and tiramisu to split after the evenings special for dinner. The side veggies were perfect. It's pricey and the portions are modest, but very fresh and great quality. If you're stingy or on a tight budget, don't go, you'll have a bad time counting pennies while you should be enjoying the food and atmosphere and pampering yourself.. If you don't feel like a meal, go for a nice martini or bottle of wine and dessert. We'll be back!
Hands down the best steaks in the Valley! The owner is phenomenal and our service was impeccable. Every aspect of our meal was delicious, elegant and cooked to perfection! Our meal was on the pricey side, but honestly worth every penny! Can't wait to come back...we even bought our Mom a $150 gift certificate to here for Mother's Day!
