I understand that this is a small town, but failing to acknowledge a customer trying to pay for a takeout order demonstrates a significant lack of customer service. The food was only average at best. I would recommend steering clear of this restaurant! View all feedback.
The first time here, so I tried the fish and Fried Chicken. Fish is catfish and is well baked and tasteful. They cook it perfectly. Two thumbs. Baked chicken pieces are a good size and taste filled bread. Some of the best I had. Both come with fries that were perfectly cooked and delicious. There is a 23-minute waiting for roasted chicken, but it is worth it. Hatahoe is a very good place to eat.
I dropped by with some family for a bite to eat, and I have to say, it was the best fried okra I've ever had! The cheese sticks were fantastic, too. My son really enjoyed the chicken tender sandwich, and my extended family raved about the fish. If you're passing through, definitely stop in and be sure to add a glass of sweet tea to your order—you won't regret it!

Beat chicken in the whole state of Texas, always hit, fresh, and consistently amazing. The staff are friendly and food is always hot. Would highly recommend.
