I had a bad experience at this restaurant in Illinois. I had to renew my ID for COVID-19 purposes until August. I am 30 years old and my ID clearly shows that I was born in 1990. There is no reason why I shouldn't have been served. There is no law stating that they cannot serve me with an expired ID, especially if Illinois allows for renewal through the DMV.
