I know, I know... they are adorable people. Produce is fresh, recipes are genuine. Call me spoiled, but while they do serve authentic Ribatejo fare with commendable Ribatejo hospitality, still it is not top food. I have friends who travel a couple of hours just...to go pick up gallons of fish soup and Sopa da Pedra at O Forno, so the place has impressive reputation.
