Restaurant located in the historical part of alghero a few steps from the port. I got an appetizer and a really good algherese spaghetti. very courteous and attentive staff to the customer. to try.
The location in civic square is great. but it is only advisable if there are few people. when, as it is logical in summer to alghero, there is the full (and here there are so many tourists really) the service is completely insufficient, the waiters, although good and kind, do what they can but can not follow everyone, and there are therefore very long waits that make you tired and irritate. they should put a lot more into service. for the rest, the location inside is beautiful, and also the external ones, very nice both on the square and on a terraced terraced side on the right side, that in summer is also quite airy. good food even if not too abundant. There's so much to improve, but they can do it.
Luckily we didn't read the reviews beforehand, otherwise they probably would have discouraged us. The food was delicious, the service was flawless. We've had better carbonara, but it wasn't exactly bad. The gnocchi were okay : .
I don't understand the low number of stars. We've been here twice, once for coffee and Aperol, and once for some very good swordfish and pasta. One waiter was very nice, but in Italy, you often find arrogant service staff... It's a shame, a smile doesn't cost anything, but it does make you feel welcome!
