We had lunch and it was the worst food we had in Portugal. The ingredients are of poor quality and everything is tasteless. The prices are high for what you get. Avoid this place. View all feedback.
Really surprised by the negative comments on food and service. The people were welcoming, the situation was lovely and the food was very good. The toilets were spotless.
What can I say Bad over priced food with medrioque service If you make the mistake fo dinne here make sure you double check your bill
I have no idea why this restaurant has so many negative reviews. We stopped in for lunch after a visit to the monestary (this restaurant is just across the plaza). We are so glad we did, the wait staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food was great. My wife had chicken in a pot that she found delicious. I had prawns and ham with a spicy sauce. My daughter had spaghetti with clams. The menu was more than just seafood and a variety of meats on French Fries. It was among the top few meals we’ve had in Portugal in all aspects. It was fairly affordable too.
From the friendliest greeter to table staff this place has incredible staff and the countries best food in Alcobaca. I have never had such great food except for my Mom. There is so much fresh food because the owner goes to the market daily. I will always return here for fresh fish or chicken dishes.
We have been a few times and enjoyed the almond tart, but recently tried the sea bass in rice, the piri-piri chicken and the chicken in a pot. The staff is attentive and so friendly. We'll be back!
