KUDOS to the entire staff for providing supreme quality customer service! The egg drop soup and steamed dumplings are delicious! The ambiance is quiet! Thank God for Ming's ! I highly recommend all to come and visit to support this local business!
Pretty average Chinese food. The wonton soup had no green onions and very little meat in the wonton. Generals chicken typically has breading that is through milk wash first and then flour this was more of a beer batter from a dredge. Very meh . The sauce wasn 't spicy and was too sweet. That 's just being a bit nit picky. I 'll probably pass next time but there aren 't too many decent Chinese places around. This one was a solid meh .
My shrimp toast was burnt and I had an unknown charge on my bank card right after my order was charged. I called back to resolve the issue and was treated like a lunatic that didn't have proof of it on my bank printout. I offered to bring in a copy and was told I still wouldn't get my money back anyway since she didn't have a receipt for the charge. Well isn't that a convenient way to scam money off your customers. I will dispute this with my bank but I will NEVER order this overpriced crap again.
It looks like a Chinese restaurant, but it really isn't. The staff were friendly and all, but it was odd to not see 1 Asian person in the entire place besides myself. I shrugged it off and went ahead and gave the place a solid chance because let's face it, it's really all about the food anyways. The prices were not cheap, it was over $15 for a to-go order of Beef and Broccoli with white rice. It must be a big portion for that price. I went ahead and ordered it and waited around and scoped out the rest of the place. Lovely oriental art hanging on the walls, it would appear the restaurant owners must be Chinese. I took a peak into the kitchen through the door window and still saw no Asian people. Let me add that I was raised in a Cantonese restaurant, and I sample Chinese cuisines all around the world during my military travels. But let's get back to the food. When I received my order, it was a pretty small bag and smelled nothing like any beef and broccoli I've ever had before. It didn't smell Chinese. Needless to saw, it was horrible quality, and it was clear they used alternative ingredients that weren't Chinese or Thai. They charged an absurd amount for a stingy portioned sized container that they didnt even fill to the top. There was far more veggies than beef, and I'm not a fan of having bamboo chutes included in that dish. This is probably the 2nd worst Chinese restaurant in the world that I've eaten at (this small place outside the Vatican in Rome, Italy still holds the title for worst).
