Ok, I've been a yuge Frenchish fan for a while now. But damn, it just doesn't get much better than this. The butternut squash mac and cheese is the best mac and cheese I've ever had. Truly top notch. I've never been disappointed in any dish here, and I'm sure that'll never change. Frenchish, please don't ever leave me. View all feedback.
What Asana Banana dislikes about Frenchish:
We came here on the 1st night of our New Mexico trip, with high expectation. Had duck confit and the chickpea dish from the specials menu. The duck was done very nicely but I didn’t quite like the lentil and squash. Flavor was just a bit off for me since I was expecting French. Chickpea dish was creative but again not exactly my taste. Incredible experience! The caviar was a bit of a treat and paired wonderfully with crème fraîche and saltines. I even added some to the deviled eggs, which were a steal at $3 in 2022, and it was a perfect combination. The heirloom tomatoes were exactly what you hope for during the summer, and the brown butter added a delightful richness. The filet was cooked to perfection, and the compound butter offered a lovely garlicky and lemony flavor. The fries were slightly overcooked, but that was a minor issue. The berry hot milk shortcake was exquisite. The cocktail menu was thoughtfully curated, along with a great selection of affordable wines by the glass. The service was exceptional. If you have the chance to sit at the bar with Tanya, do it! She is knowledgeable, professional, and a lot of fun. This was a fantastic outing, and I look forward to returning for more casual dishes, which I know are also on the menu.
The cocktails were fantastic, and while I was looking forward to the carrot dog, the real highlights were the deviled eggs and the mint ice cream. I would return just for those!
Excellent burger and fries. Great soups. Wish they made all their sauces available right off the bat though. Always an enjoyable time and I appreciate how they don't cram you in with seating m.
We had a fantastic evening celebrating a family birthday at Frenchish. The food and wine were delicious, and the service was exceptional. It was simply a lovely night overall. We enjoyed burgers, salmon, shishito peppers, deviled eggs, and frites, and everything was wonderful. We're really looking forward to coming back!
Okay, Frenchish, I understand. However, I was expecting more French cuisine on the menu than what was offered. That said, my German beer and steak were great. Please note that if you want to dine here, proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required. Also, if you wear a ballcap sporting an American flag or wear makeup, you may hear staff say, Must be right wingers.
