Oh yeah. This is legit gooood ass food. Stopped to get some sides for Fat Tuesday and couldn't pass up the nephew burger. Owner is great and food is outstanding. View all feedback.

I ordered two rib dinners. One with cabbage and baked beans and the other with mac and cheese with baked beans. The ribs was nice and tendered and the BBQ sauce was really good with a little tang, the baked beans was very good but I do have to say that their mac and cheese was the nastiest I’ve ever eaten. This restaurant offers the best authentic Southern-style comfort food in town! I highly recommend trying the soul rolls - they are absolutely delicious! The ribs were also mouthwatering and the Mac n' cheese and dirty rice were perfection. The portions are very generous. This place is definitely one of Akron's best kept secrets! I give it a perfect 5 out of 5 rating for the food.

The owner is an amazing person. I buy the xxx wings constantly. They are so freaking delicious, filling, and awesomely cooked. I enjoy the flavor of the burgers and fries just as much. Thank you for the great food!
We ordered the perch dinner with dirty rice and cabbage. We also ordered the wing dinner with baked beans and fried okra. An order of fried green tomatoes, soul rolls and peach cobbler for dessert. The food was prepared properly it just wasn't seasoned the way I'm used to, but still very edible. I'm not a fan of cinnamon in my baked beans and the cabbage was good but very sweet.
