We had a lovely dining experience at Orso on a chilly Tuesday night. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The ambiance of the restaurant was impressive, and we especially enjoyed dining in the intimate Alexandra room. The food was delicious, and we savored every dish we ordered. We will definitely be returning.

This restaurant is amazing. It was Father's Day and everything was fantastic. One of the best meals I've had in a long time. The food was prepared with so much care and the portions were just right. The menu was curated very well. I can't think of anything negative to say about it.

I visited this restaurant twice and was impressed both times. The modern interior design is cozy and comfortable, and the customer service is excellent. The staff promptly cleared our table after each course and ensured a reasonable gap between dishes, even during busy times. This professionalism and attention to detail were evident throughout our meal. The food was exceptional, with every plate perfectly executed and ingredients cooked to perfection. Two dishes stood out to me the most. First, the Wagyu eye fillet with bone marrow jus was a standout, showcasing the quality of the Wagyu beef and the tenderness of the eye fillet. The dish was cooked to medium rare over charcoal, and the jus added a rich and deep flavor to the plate. It was truly outstanding. Another highlight was the mandarin sorbet meringue with ginger shaved ice dessert. The combination of textures was delightful, with the meringue and shaved ice melting in the mouth and the sorbet providing a refreshing and spicy kick. The caramelized meringue added a perfect bitterness that complemented the mandarin sorbet. This dessert was a light and refreshing end to the meal, cleansing the palate and leaving a lasting impression. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant for its exceptional food, professional service, and cozy ambiance.

I ordered a seafood Easter pastry pie, and unfortunately, it turned out to be quite disappointing. Aside from a couple of prawn tails and a few flakes of fish, I found that it was mostly just a bland potato pie for $95. It was really underwhelming. I reached out to Orso via email and received a generic response thanking me for my feedback, which was not satisfactory. Overall, I was not impressed. Meal type: Other Price per person: A$20–40.
