The gimlet is my go to drink here and they have a great selection of food items to go with their drinks. Very interesting space with a radio / sound studio, a barber and a delicatessen! I finally tried one of their deli sandwiches and it was delicious. Loads of great meat, big sized bread, potato chips and pickles. hit the spot for a late night meal.
Throw a barber shop, sound studio, delicatessen and a bar in a blender and you get the uber cool, New York City-inspired BRKLYN. Overlooking Rundle Street, this very new, multi-purpose venue is so Brooklyn (and also aptly-named), with its exposed brick, and industrial speakeasy vibe. Expect plenty of cocktails that pay homage to NYC, but also lots of international beers and South Australian wines, which naturally made my heart tweet like a bird. At 1am on a Saturday night this place was heaving with people – happy, unpretentious people – all enjoying the beats and oddness of the next-door sound studio. Great customer service. Beautiful selection of unusual beer on tap, bigger, sour and ale. Music was a nice mix of neo-soul to hip hop with tracks like you got me from The Roots. The food was great. The burgers are legit, and the Vego options are ok.
I was pretty sharp and wanted some fruit, nice staff prepared a fruit dish as a supplement with a jug
