I really don't know how this restaurant doesn't have a higher rating. I have lived in Valdosta all my life and the Captain Ds there is absolutely HORRIBLE! We have eaten at this one in Adel SEVERAL TIMES and EVERYTIME it's VERY HOT AND FRESHLY MADE! The cole slaw is always fresh, the sweet tea is great and the staff is friendly! Unpleasant and yucky. If you 've never eaten at a Capt Ds before and you go here, please do not judge all Capt Ds based on this one. I haven 't had Capt Ds in so long and was so excited to go here. The food was gross. Not even close to what I 'm used to. the restaurant felt just grimey for lack of a better word.
