2 of last 3 trips they were unable to fill my online order, but NO ONE notified me!! I drove all the way there only to be told my order was not filled. This time they did not have enough green tomatoes to fill my order, the staff told me. It 's just one of those things. It 's not our fault. Then they just walked without offering a refund or at least the difference in price for the smaller order!!?? Had to ask for the manager to get my refund and then was told it would take 7 business days. She then abruptly walked away. I recommend strongly skipping Cotton Patch. Customer Service is not in their vocabulary!! Negative 2 stars!!!
Awesome comfort food and friendly staff. I had the Brisket Queso and the Chicken Fried Steak. The Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce that comes with the queso is sweet, but pairs well with the spicy queso flavor. The Chicken Fried Steak was almost the size as the plate and was tender with good flavor.
I had the Grilled Cajun Duo and it was amazing. Everything about it was good. Kids meals are very cheap with good portions. This would be our Sunday go to place if I lived here.
Cotton Patch Cafe is the most underrated restaurant in Abilene. I've been eating there since they opened on a regular basis and I can honestly say that I've never had a bad meal or bad service. I can't say that about any other restaurant in Abilene. Ithink the best thing about it is that I've never had to wait more than a few minutes for a table. Also, they always bring outthe food within 15 minutes and it's always hot and delicious! This is always my first choice when going out to eat on weekendsor when guests are in town. It may not be very fancy, but it's always good!
About two months ago, I visited Cotton Patch and ordered the fish and chips, which were absolutely delicious and expertly prepared. However, my recent visit did not measure up to that experience. Despite this, the other dishes I tried were generous in portion and quite good. The service was excellent, and the prices were reasonable.
