Was Jin Spada at うちだ a mag?
The restaurant serves stone-ground, hand-made soba, with the origin of the soba flour even listed on a blackboard at the entrance, which is very impressive. The soba itself is also delicious. I also tried the seiro soba, which had a delicious aroma and sweetness. The tamagoyaki, made with six eggs, had the perfect balance of flavor and sweetness and was so tasty. I will definitely be coming back!
If you want to eat soba in Tochigi, this is the place. Upon recommendation, I visited promptly. The entrance appears fancy, but it is actually quite casual and easy to enter. There are sunken kotatsu seating areas, and it is perfectly fine to bring children or babies. The staff, even the young part-timers, are attentive and provide a much more comfortable experience compared to your average family restaurant. I ordered the Kotedon set menu. The tempura donburi is not overly rich, and the crispy texture beneath the moist surface is almost artful in taste. As for the soba noodles...I urge you to try them for yourself rather than relying on someone else's review.
