I had the Charred Salt Ramen, which was very flavorful with a rich broth that paired perfectly with the noodles. The chashu was also tender and delicious.
The restaurant is located near Oikawa in Nanairocho, Seven Fair Town. It used to be located in front of Goryokaku Station, but has since relocated to its current location. Since the Goryokaku Station era, the salt ramen has been characterized by a light yet flavorful soup. The soup itself may be a little strong, but considering the balance between the noodles and the soup, it feels like if the soup were to be lighter, the noodles wouldn't mix as well, so the current level seems just right. This time, I ordered the pork salt ramen and fried rice set after a long absence. The taste of the pork salt ramen is as good as ever. The noodles are firmly intertwined with the slightly strong soup, maintaining an exquisite balance. The fried rice is a bit disappointing, lacking the fluffy texture it used to have. In general, this is a restaurant with the characteristic of delicious salt ramen. The soup is strong, so I thought I might get thirsty later, but I drank about 80% of it and didn't really notice. I always order salt-based dishes here, so I can't speak to the other menu items, but it's a small restaurant run by a couple. It's not spacious, but there is a parking lot, so I think it's more convenient than before. I will definitely go back.
