We get the Lamb chops. It's always very delicious. Also had the ribeye, which was cooked perfectly. Great size for a woman, but a man needs at least a 20oz bone in.
One of our favorite stops in the area. We try everything but typically start with shrimp cocktail which are meaty and tasty. We also recommend the tavern peppers flatbread. As far as dinners, we've had the surf and turf, filet, ribeye on our many occasions. The restaurant also has a respectable beer and wine list to keep our thirst quenched. Highly recommended and a regular stop for us.
The food was delicious. We had the Cowboy Ribeye, great flavor and tender, The Pork Ribeye with tangy pineapple sauce and Chipotle sauce. It was tender but a little too spicy. Plus, the seafood platter was tasty. Our server was David. He was pleasant, and he offered great service. Thank you for the experience. We found the Springfield Grille in a magazine about Youngstown at one of the pitstop on 80/90 toll road. Sometimes, you just need to get off the beaten path and explore what out there.
I've eaten here often for around 18 years. The food , drinks , and service is always fantastic.
Food and service was really good. My only complaint, which I should have brought to their attention, was I got an add on 4oz lobster tail with my ribeye and was charged $60 for it. The one special was filet and 4oz tail for $43. So I ended up paying $97 just for my meal. Ribeye, calamari special and Louisiana shrimp and grits was really good
