Fish the chips were okay, but prawn cutlets, calamari seafood scallops disgusting. Were not fresh, straight out of a box like you buy at Coles or Woolies. The Calamari was the worst we’ve ever eaten, was mushy soggy, definitely not fresh. Would never eat here again. Worst of all, it was $80 down the drain…
We were looking for a venue to enjoy a brekkie in the sun and found Beachside 66. The hosts were very friendly, the service fantastic and the brekkie to die for! I had the vegetarian burrito filled with scrambled eggs, spinach and a beautiful tomato relish, while my partner had the 'small ' brekkie of eggs (sunnyside up), bacon grilled tomato and toast. I would hate to see what the 'Big ' brekkie was like! The latte 's were great too.
We ordered the Red Emperor, calamari, chips, and a potato scallop at Beachside 66. The meal was absolutely delicious and there was plenty for the two of us. I highly recommend this restaurant.
