Quick, friendly service and delicious food! Chucked in free baklava for the kids! Will be back when driving through next time!
I love kebab! Cherry on top of a summer day trip to Yea. The restaurant is a little air-conditioned Turkish sanctuary, and the food is completely, as implied, kebabalicious . Thanks for the free baklava!
I really don’t understand the five-star ratings—honestly, I don’t. The meat tastes good, but it’s pre-cooked and kept in a bain-marie under heat lamps, which makes it dry. The salad was fresh and enjoyable, and the chips were decent. However, the prices are high, and service can be slow when the place is busy. It seems to attract mostly tourists, as I didn’t notice many locals dining here. The staff were polite, but they weren’t particularly friendly. They have a strange assembly line setup similar to Subway, but it feels inefficient, as they have to move around a lot to assemble a kebab. After adding the salad, the kebabs are heated in a press and wrapped in foil, while the chips are served in Styrofoam. Overall, it’s not very environmentally friendly.
