My mother's... read more I have visited many pubs for meals, but I have to say, the food at this restaurant is incomparable. The roasts were served hot, fresh, and quickly. My mother's vegetarian meal was exceptional, my beef roast was delicious, and my daughter's meal was also very tasty. She was provided with a kids' activity sheet to keep her entertained while we waited, although the service was prompt and friendly. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was not too busy or crowded. The location is lovely and I highly recommend this restaurant.

Love the food! We had a prawn cocktail, the soup of the day, the Prawn and crab linguine, the haddock fish cakes and the honey pot dessert, it all really was amazing! Only couple of little things I would say is that the prawn cocktail needed a little bit more flavour to it, and the honey pot was extremely rich and could’ve done with a bit more ice cream just to help with that.but that doesn’t mean we’re going to give it any less than five stars, because it really was brilliant and a good evening out.

Service was excellent. even though it was a busy Friday evening. Food was also excellent and timely. Staff friendly and welcoming. Made us feel like individuals Wine was quite expensive compared to other local restaurants.
