Moon's Fish Chips
Description
**Moon's Fish and Chips: A Culinary Spotlight in the Neighborhood**
Moon's Fish and Chips, formerly known as Kimmy's, has sparked a flurry of mixed reviews since its reopening. While some patrons lament the decline in quality and experience longer waits, others celebrate the fresh, generous portions and attentive service. Many laud the crispy chips and flavorful fish, with a few even declaring it the best in the area. Amidst the criticism of mushy dishes and inconsistent meals, the restaurant's cleanliness and friendly staff stand out. Overall, Moon's embodies the classic fish and chip shop vibe, making it a new favorite for some and a disappointment for others.
Feedback
Last week, we visited a Japanese takeaway in Subiaco and decided to try their fish and chips. We ordered a seafood basket, which was very generous, and we also tried the red imperial and barramundi fish. Everything was incredibly fresh. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. Thank you, Moon family!
Used to be Kimis and was my local and always beautiful. Now Moon's and was the worst fish ever. Maybe Basa was used but it was so mushy and disgusting. My parents were over and even they agreed plus we were one less potato scollop and some were so small compared to the usual potato scollop. Very disappointed and now looking for another local.
The quality and quantity of food here are excellent. You can really tell that the owner and staff genuinely care about their customers. This is definitely one of the best fish and chip shops I've found in the West.
