During lunch they only have a limited menu with hearty, basic Swiss food such as Schnitzel with french fries. They also offer to make menu changes, and substitute the fries with a large mixed salad. All meals come with complimentary soup or salad and the portions are on the large side. The taste of the food is good, yet not quite on gourmet level. The service is excellent; the waitress is one of the friendliest and efficient I've ever experienced in Switzerland. A typical lunch with a soft drink will cost around 20 francs (an excellent deal for Switzerland). The atmosphere is the only thing that I didn’t like very much: The restaurant has a cheesy American Saloon setting, similar to the ones that you would expect to find in a tourist town along Route 66... Not really my thing, but I was here for the food not the décor.
