I gave this restaurant 1 star only because there isn't a lower option. I got sick after eating, and the pregnant woman behind the counter was in a bad mood.
I went to the store to eat our sandwiches at home. I was ignored for at least 15 minutes, even though the store was not busy. When we got home, we realized that they had sent the wrong sandwiches with our order. The next day, I returned with the sandwiches, but was met by a rude employee at the drive-thru. They refused to help me without a receipt, despite the fact that we are regular customers who spend a lot of money there each week. I will not be returning to this location and will drive to Ark City or elsewhere for better service. The staff at this location seem indifferent to the customers and the service they provide. It is disappointing that upper management has not addressed this issue. This store used to have good help, but not anymore. Don't bother visiting the Winfield Subway, as even trying to call them results in the phone hanging up repeatedly with no answer.
I was mailed coupons and I tried to use the buy 1 12ft get 1 free. They wouldn't accept it at this location. Clerk says there are signs posted in store. Doesn't help when I drove there coupon in hand only to be told this owner won't take it.So I won't be back.
They don't accept coupons. The bread was stale, and the lettuce wasn't fresh either.
