Bread Euphoria Bakery Café

I live locally and have been here a few times. My most recent visit, however, will be my last. It was (genuinely) my birthday. I had no plans for the morning, and I decided to get a sweet treat to go along with the coffee I made myself at home. Got to the register, ordered a chocolate almond croissant to go. The server stared at me in silence as if waiting for something, so I smiled and said that was all for me. He rolled his eyes at me? I paid with cash and gave them a tip; we all have bad days. Other customers ahead of me had been brought cold pastries right away when they ordered, but he didn’t move, so I stood to the left in the standing waiting area. I don’t mind a wait, I get it. The older woman making all sandwiches and hot food was stressed and overworked beyond belief, to the point that she was slamming plates and to-go boxes on the counter as she finished, without calling out who it was for or what it was. Customers had to open random boxes hoping to find their own. She also called out to her fellow staff multiple times asking for help, saying she could not handle the volume of orders she had, and no one came to her aid. No one even really acknowledged her. She was drowning with no help. Not a good look, and rubs me the wrong way. I stood by the counter waiting for over 25 minutes. For a cold pastry that I could literally see a few feet in front of me. I just needed someone to put it in a bag and hand it over to me. People who came in after me ordered pastries, and the young man who took my ordered immediately called it out to a different staff member, who then bagged them up and passed them out. He never called mine out, so I approached the counter and asked the pastry-passing staff member for my order. Which was just one cold croissant, remember. She had seen me standing there for a while, and I had been patient and smiled at her, moved out of the way for people, etc. But, when I asked her, she accused me of never ordering or paying and said I had to pay first. I told her I did, at the register on the right with the young gentleman, 25 minutes ago. And she just stared at me. She looked at their iPad at the register and said she didn’t see a credit card transaction for just a croissant at that time; I told her I had paid in cash because my total was under $5 and I had a $5 bill handy. She let out an exasperated sigh, put the croissant in a bag on the counter, and turned her back to me before I could even say thank you. I do not appreciate being accused of trying to get food without paying, nor do I like being treated like a burden for paying with cash. I’m sorry I didn’t also get a coffee or anything else to make my ticket cost more, but I had a thermos of coffee already in my car. I just wanted a croissant on the morning of my birthday. Thanks for ruining the entire experience, and making me feel awkward and uncomfortable. You don’t have to worry about me trying to “steal” a $4 croissant in the future, because I won’t be back.

Not gonna lie. When I first stopped here I thought it was the little house in the front. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the building in the back. We had a delicious breakfast that was very fresh. Staff we very friendly and it's a cozy sport to sit and enjoy some food.

Great ambiance and chill place to work! They also serve some great bagels and bread.

Everything is delicious and very wholesome; quiche is magnificent, turkey sandwich my fave. Challah on Fridays makes the best French toast

Charming bakery and Cafe in a beautiful location. If you're sightseeing in the Mohawk Trail area this is a great place to stop. Also one of the rare places that knows how to make a good cup of coffee as opposed to dessert in a cup. Highly recommend the molasses pie
