I found this restaurant on Tripadvisor and then a hotel in the same city; I say most, it was worth the effort. We had a fantastic evening with excellent food and service and we just loved this restaurant I think we need to go back later : FOR SURE THE BEST RESTAURANT IN WERNIGERODE!!!

This restaurant absolutely merits its Michelin star. Be sure to allow yourself three hours for the meal it's worth every minute. Every course is amazing and original (and delicious). The menu changes frequently and with the season, but I would trust anything they put in front of me. Definitely a special meal!

I love this restaurant. We were here many times, always something new and original and so well prepared, delicious. Best restaurant in Wernigerode, one of the best in region. Little pricey, but for the quality of ingrediens definitely worth it

I suppose now the dust has settled down after my visit so that the lasting impression is an enormous disappointment. Our evening was a long anticlimax. We visited both timepieces with high expectations that we expect an evening of Bravura culinary skill on the best ingredients that the region has to offer resin. This is finally what the restaurant 's Michelin Star and Robin Pietsch's glittering profile had expected us as one of the German Star-Junge cuisine. I don't want to be cruel or unpleasant, but there is no disappointment that if you get away from a place like this, as we did, it's like cheated out of what was promised. No one has agreed to rob us or float, but the customer here has a right to expect the best, and that is not, definitely not what we have. We left this soi-disante 'Temple of food' both mentally incomplete and gastronomic, good, empty. Unless the dishes are each and everyone brilliant, 14 courses serve the size and substance of an average amuse beech becomes only precious and pretentious. The fact that the majority of the items on the evening menu (there is only one menu; there is only one session) were quite common, among all presentation-flims-flame, is unimaginable. None of the warm dishes were unforgettable: neither the cube of the abdominal boar, nor the shards of the wild boar, nor the darkest of all the tiny square of the salmon trout with medium small shavings of the asparagus in a prissy spoon full of vapidic broth. Some of the cold dishes were up. The mustard with poppy seeds promised as much as the second course. There was a raw beef shell called Hackus Without Kneeste, which is a version of a regional speciality that was molten. But I felt betrayed by this court. It came in a China funnel that was too late to my horror, I realized was not more than a third as deep as it appeared. And it was small enough to begin with, even before our hopes of getting more than just a mouthful were destroyed. And that was the other indestructible at the timepiece. As I said if you're going to do this kind of thing, you need to make it unforgettable, brilliant, you need to be amazing and joy, take the breath away and make the taste buds dizzy with any distillation of skill and ingredient. And you have to do it with Flair and Elan. The speed of dizziness, as a feeling of taste surpasses the other. There is no room for mediocrity. Mediocrity is what we got in Zeitwerk, personified for me by the one course of each substance, a kind of Chi-chi version of a typical German breakfast, that a small Laaf, probably the need for the actual sustenance. There is no room, especially for mediocrity in a snail pace. People wait up to half an hour between microscopic courses, while the cravings grow and gnaw, is not my idea of treating customers with respect. If that's a temple of food, it's a pretty cooler. It's also not worth what you're done to worship here.

I was there for a new year dinner organized by my employer, It was super good service, eating very tasty, very well presented, the wines were of very good quality, the staff was super courtesy and friendly with a very good mood There were people with allergies, no problem, they took care of it without to praise the character of the restaurant. I strongly recommend this place.
