Went there with my co-workers and tried spicy chicken bbq, green onion chicken, spicy snail and rice cake with chicken. All the foods were so delicious especially the green onion chicken! Its super crispy! Oh, and the waiter was so nice enough to come to our table routinely to check if our beer is warm, and replaced all warm beers into new ice cold beers!! I will definetly visit there again soon! View all feedback.
What Michael Liman doesn't like about K-pocha:
The environment inside the restaurant is kind of dark with dim lights. We have to wait a bit, not too long, as we didn't reserve the seats. We ordered army soup $18), which it tastes way too salty for our standard. This army soup is not recommended, too salty. We also ordered half soy garlic and half snowing chicken. The price $31.00 View all feedback.
The food was great; tteokbokki was super soft and chewy, rice cakes were salty and flavorful, loved the cheese too. But adding the cheese and fish cakes were extra and it added up quite a bit. The japchae was reallllly good, bursting with flavour but still was a great balance from the really have tteokbokki. The chicken, which is what it should be known for, was okay. We ordered boneless chicken and they got the order wrong and gave us boned chicken. I’ve been here twice and the first time I came, they got the chicken order wrong again. So it was kind of disappointing how they got the order wrong again. Last time they gave us free cheese corn which made up for their mistake. But this time, they didn’t do anything. The taste of the chicken obviously was good, but I think it was very overpriced too. Sticky and heavy. Def was too full after sharing these three dishes with 3 people.
A great spot for socializing with friends. Ordered the corn and cheese and it was delicious. Also tried the half and half snowy cheese and soy garlic. I personally really like cheesy fried chicken so I preferred that. The wait time for the chicken was also a bit long.
K-Pocha has been a go to place for fried chicken for a long time. I recommend coming with friends as the food comes out hot and it has a great atmosphere inside the restaurant. The boneless snowing chicken, snowing fries and shrimp mayo were great to share and the portions are big. The only thing I would like is some more cabbage with the shrimp as it is a lot of fried food with nothing to break up the taste. Always a great experience.

Wife and I decided to try half regular and half soy garlic fried chicken. For $32 it definitely was not worth it. The pieces were quiet small and were mostly breading.Although the regular fried chicken was juicy, it did not have much taste. The soy garlic was pretty good at first but became over powering and was quite sweet and very greasy. Also, I don't know why they bother giving fries... You get like maybe half a handful. All in all, I would rather give my money to chicken plus. Way more flavorful and a better bang for your buck.
