I've visited many times to this restaurant. Not a big place, so it feels cozy. They are known for their korean fried chicken. Try their Snowing which is deep fried chicken coated in sweet cheese powder, tastes best when you eat it fresh. I recently tried their table top chicken BBQ where it comes with a rim of mozzarella cheese which you an dip into. loaded with goodness. I will come back for more! View all feedback.
What Michael Liman dislikes about K-Pocha:
The interior of the restaurant is quite dimly lit, creating a cozy atmosphere. We had to wait a little while for a table since we didn't make a reservation, but it wasn't too long. We ordered the army soup for $18, but unfortunately, it was much too salty for our taste. I wouldn't recommend this dish due to its excessive saltiness. We also tried the half soy garlic and half snowing chicken for $31. View all feedback.

I was craving some real KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) and was googling to see if there was a good place in Mississauga (instead of having to drive out to Markham). This place popped up so we decided to go and give it a try. I'm glad we did! Our server informed us that there would be a bit of wait for our food because there was a big group. He was apologetic and polite about it. We didn't mind as we weren't that hungry. We ended up with fried chicken (half and half, half plain and half sauced with the sweet and spicy sauce). The coating was light and crispy, and not greasy. Reminded us of the fried chicken we had in Korea. We also ordered the dukbokki (spicy rice cakes) with fish cakes. We didn't want more meat, so we just asked for the rice cakes plain, and our server said they can do it with just the fish cakes. I have to warn you, that it's spicy! Again, reminded us of how spicy dishes were in Korea. The rice cakes were spicy, but also very flavourful, almost has this roastiness to it, from the sesame seeds, maybe!? Definitely more flavourful than the dukbokki from Owl of Minerva. If you're beer drinkers or soju drinkers, there are good combo deals! We would definitely go back for the fried chicken and the dukbokki! It was a Friday night and the restaurant was packed, it wasn't too loud which was good, but be prepared to wait a bit for service. We saw lots of people get take out while we were there.
They have a list of a different korean fried chicken that you can get, ranges from 20-28 dollars a dish. We ordered a spicy korean fried chicken, and it filled all three of us. This chicken dish is a whole chicken! It also came with side dishes free of charge (corn, radishes, coleslaw) Their menu also had different side dishes and rice stick plates. Their dishes are meant to be shared (family style)I have been to korea, and I've been looking for a place in GTA area that had korean fried chicken. It was very delicious and reminded me of the ones I had in Korea.I would definitely come again :)It is open 5pm-2am. Once they give you the food, they kind of leave you alone. So you have to call them to your table.
I've been really missing this restaurant lately. I haven’t had the opportunity to visit in a while due to work, and I’m currently craving their fried chicken like crazy. A nice cold beer would be the perfect addition too... yum!
I had an incredible experience at this restaurant last night with my coworkers. It was my first time trying Korean-style chicken wings, and they definitely surpassed my expectations. The wings were crispy, and the sauces we tried (soy garlic and spicy) were absolutely delicious, while the meat was incredibly tender. Although it was quite busy during our visit, I still enjoyed a fresh draft beer. Later, we ordered cheese egg rolls, which were also very tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant—the service was excellent, and I loved the atmosphere. It’s a fantastic spot for both families and friends!
