Wild Wing - Waterloo

We drove past many restaurants to get to your place on Saturday night.Big mistake!! I am giving your server Brittany,the benefit of the doubt.It was either her first night serving and did not know how to do it or her last night and did not care to do it.We inconvienced her by sitting on the patio,she had to put the umbrella up,where else was she going to put the food and drinks if it was left down,which was one of our options.Really!!Not even sitting she wanted our drink order.Her main and only focus was to get back inside so she could chat and converse with then guys at the bar.It was quite obvious,that was all that mattered.The only part of the order she really had to think about came out wrong,blame the kitchen guy.I did not even appreciate her telling me what I should eat for a side.According to her I already had enough nachos.The food was subpar,service sucked and if it was to cold for her to serve us on the patio maybe she should wear some more clothes to work,but she must have figured it was hotter inside close to the bar and the guys at the bar.Never again.We were not the only couple there,not happy.

This place has consistently wonderful chicken wings, regardless of what flavour you decide upon. That's the hardest part of going here: you remember the good flavours and want to have them again, but there are so many interesting combinations of flavours that you want to try them, too. This is usually our destination when the football team has won big, or when one of the kids' sports seasons ends. Always yummy. Always more expensive than you want...so we never order drinks there. Just fun food and good!

When I heard about Wild Wing's Saturday all you can deal I was super excited! I have gone to other locations and I have never seen such deal. However, when my husband and I got there we were terribly disappointed. To start, the restaurant was empty, which should have been a sign to us. Then, our orders took forever to arrive. When we finally got our first order of wings, the flavors just didn't taste right (we are familiar with their sauces). The second batch came a little faster but then it was over cooked. We were not happy with our visit. We did get a discount (without even asking for it) but we won't be coming back to this restaurant.

For what you get, this place is way too expensive. Service is horribly slow and they really push the booze on you. Wings are huge and sauces plenty but come on! It's chicken wings!!! You don't need to charge so much. I ordered from here a couple times but haven't in a while simply because it's just too darn expensive for what you get.

All the food was hearty, hot and delicious. Love the potato skins and nice variety of wing sauces. Good burgers and salads too. A nice little sports bar. Doesn't hurt that the waitresses are cheerful and easy on the eyes besides.
