This sandwich shop reliably turns out visually appealing, tasty subs and offers convenient app ordering and register pickup, making it a solid choice for commuters and casual diners. However, experiences vary: some patrons note slow service, dirty floors, cold baked items, and questionable food-handling and staff conduct. Helpful, friendly employees offset problems for many, but hygiene and speed lapses temper the overall recommendation—good food if you can tolerate occasional service and cleanliness issues.
This is by far the best underground dining experience I've had, and it consistently delivers excellent quality. The sandwiches are always visually appealing and taste amazing. I suggest ordering through the subway app; you can pick them up right at the register and skip the long lines.
The floors were dirty and scattered with food debris, and I noticed the staff handling my food after touching the screen while still wearing their gloves. To make matters worse, they were making rude jokes at the expense of the customers. The most disappointing part? My pretzel was served cold! It appeared to have been cooked, but it was stone cold to the touch and clearly not warmed up. Overall, I was really let down by my experience.
This is one of my favorite places in the UNION where I live! The staff was super friendly, and my sandwich was made just right. I'm definitely going back! When I remembered I forgot to request pickles on my sandwich after it was already made and packed, the employee kindly tossed it out and added the pickles for me. I absolutely love this place!
Subway offers the best and most consistent experience I've had. The sandwiches always look fresh and are made with great attention to detail. You can easily order through the Subway app, choose from their menu, and pick up your order right at the register, skipping the line entirely.
Loved subway since 2001 when I started driving!
