this cafe/restaurant was a big sound when I visited Warwick. excellent service, bright and cheerful staff, with an extensive menu and a terrace series. the decoration and the combination of stands and tables was complemented by the local artwork that decorated the walls. Eat and coffee were excellent, next time I will try them to dinner instead of afternoon tea. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mussel's:
The chips were clearly cooked in old oil and weren't very appetizing. When I asked for chicken salt while I was paying, the woman working there—who I assumed was the owner—told me it was "too late to tell them," suggesting I put it on myself. This seemed odd since the receipt hadn’t even printed yet and the kitchen wouldn't have known my order.
My coffee was served lukewarm and more like milk than coffee. I had to r... View all feedback.
I feel that the staff are no asset to this establishment. The quality of service is quiet poor. Staff yelling to one another across the restaurant whilst patrons are trying to eat does not create a nice ambience for people dining. Senior staff interrupting another staff member while they are serving a customer is rude. Especially to denegrade them in front of the customer......thats even worse! The manner in which the staff speak to customers can be blunt and rude. It appears to me like the staff are not properly trained as several have no idea how to answer simple questions and take no initiative to find out for you. Very disappointed in our dining experience.
Disappointing service from girl by the name of Manba or similar. No smile. Reminded me of Seinfeld Soup Nazi! No pleasantries and she just handed change and turned her back. Come on. This is a well established local. It deserves to have better and more friendly staff. Don't get complacent. Always be the best. Manager- Reply to reviews! Don't take them for granted. Ignoring reviews is a sure sign that you just don't care about your business. We have been to Warwick 3 times and have always come to this cafe. But now, we will find a new place Averaging 3/5 stars is a major fail. Locals need to tell the owners. Clearly, they are not reading reviews. You have dropped the ball!
By far one of the, if not THE worst “restaurant” I’ve ever eaten at! Took an hour to get my meal when the place was almost empty (the people that were there had already gotten their meals). Asked politely where my food was after 50 mins and got told “plating up, 3 minutes”, with no “sorry for the wait” or anything like that. After that, took another 10 mins (to compete the hour) before food finally arrived, still with no “sorry for the wait” or anything other than “Chicken Parma”... Extremely rude and poor service! Not to mention staff take way too long to collect dirty plates. The person working took EVERY other plate on EVERY other table BUT ours, despite the fact that there was no one there and we were sitting with dirty plates (all the tables were dirty), forcing me to remove the previous person’s dirty plates myself to another table). Not clean, plenty of flies in the restaurant. Chicken was hot but ham dry and flavour-less “salsa” (more like just plain tomatoes) felt as if it was just slapped cold on top of the hot chicken. Below appalling. Customer service and quality at its absolute lowest. I’m from interstate and would NEVER return! It should NOT take an hour to get one meal out! (especially when the place is virtually empty). AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!

A cozy buffet, a terrace and al la carte dining in one, mustels is likely to have something to their joy, whether they have lunch with the family, dinner with a friend, a fast, filling meal or a takeaway coffee and a piece of cake. the prices are very reasonable and the decoration and service make it a comforting place to sit and enjoy their meal. the buffet offers a good selection of dresses that are all of crispy, delicate calamari (not a bad trick, they get to stay crispy in the young marathon), pasta and pizza, suppe and cutlery and a fairly appealing salatable, with a bit more than garden and Greek salads and a few pickles. unfortunately I had not yet been pleased to stop for an a la carte meal (watch this room) but at least my better half could be the selection in the baked display on the front safe is worth it and in this look it is quite challenging. service seems friendly and efficient. I have noticed some bad reviews about the service in the past, but either the management has set up and taken to know, or I had particularly happy. in the inner is mustels cozy, with large tables and several stands, soft lighting and some beautiful textures. it certainly has not been together from the mcrestaurant catalog, as so many places are. it is a beautiful place to sit and enjoy a meal in peace, or a chat or family meeting, as the tables are far enough apart to allow for some private sphere. the buffet area is spacious enough that there is no scrum around eating around and seems impeccable, even in the middle of the service. Gottels was a nice sound and I'm glad to come back here. it is not a hot kitchen, but it is delicious, varied eating at a reasonable price in a comforting atmosphere.
