I... read more I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant today! The front-of-house staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was served quickly and tasted fantastic. It's the perfect place for families, thanks to the playground and outdoor seating area.

I ordered the eggs Benedict, wh... read more I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, but it was incredibly salty. To be honest, I found the portion size too small for the price. I ordered the eggs Benedict, which came with two eggs and a small piece of kumara instead of bread. It was delicious, but I would have preferred two pieces of kumara and more mushrooms next time. My partner ordered the big breakfast and was very pleased with his meal, except for the bread, which was rock hard and nearly impossible to eat.

The food was decent, but I requested sourdough bread instead of potato rashers (which I don't usually enjoy, as they tend to be quite greasy) and the bread was quite good! The coffee (mocaccino) was a bit bitter, but I guess some people prefer it that way. Overall, it felt a bit pricey. I’d return anytime, but it’s not my favorite spot anymore.

I say this because the area is under development and the garden which is accomodating with its tables and been bags failed to have enough shade due to the young trees. The beer selection, although not vast, made up for the short comings. Did not try the food but it smelt good.

Warm seating inside or outside with a view of the surrounding mountains. Service was excellent! Quite a range for the menu. The cheese gravy fries tasted so good. Playground near by for kids to play on too. Would definitely go back again.
