Amazing ice cream! I had Uvafragola and Bacci. Uvafragola are strawberry grapes, which I grow in my garden; I'd never seen them before – incredible taste! Two scoops in a cup to go for 4 euros, you can't complain about that.
Bar Maleti is a Lido institution, known primarily for its lively atmosphere and strategic location on the main avenue connecting the vaporetto pier to the beach. Here's a summary of what customers often highlight: The best of Bar Maleti Aperitifs and Cocktails: It's famous for its Spritzes and mixed drinks. Many consider it the ideal spot for after-beach drinks or to kick off the night. Location: Its terrace on Gran Viale is perfect for people-watching and soaking up the island's atmosphere. Variety: They offer everything from pastries and coffee in the morning to ice cream, snacks, and sandwiches (tramezzini) during the day. Extended Hours: It's one of the few places in the area that stays open until late (2:00 AM), making it the quintessential nighttime meeting point. Points to consider Prices: Being in such a touristy and central area, prices may be a little higher than in other less crowded bars on the Lido.
Nice bar with a great selection and reasonable prices. Friendly staff, good location.
Had a very disappointing experience at this coffee shop. The service felt clearly unequal — I noticed a different attitude and level of service toward Italian customers compared to others. The way staff communicated and approached tables was noticeably inconsistent, which made the experience uncomfortable. Another important point: there was no menu provided at the table, and I realized that prices are not always transparent. It seems that what you’re charged can vary, so I strongly recommend asking about prices in advance to avoid surprises. I’ve had similar items at nearby places for standard prices, but here it felt unclear and inconsistent.
