We wandered into the neighborhood near the Rialto and stopped in some of the little bars that line the narrow streets. There we found inexpensive drinks and snacks, friendly servers, and in this establishment, inspirational messages hung on the walls. Some of our favorites: You are in bad trouble, drinking is the answer! Save a plant, eat a vegan! The children of the vegans bring them the chicory If you are having a bad day, it is not our fault It was very inexpensive – two Aperol Spritz, four glasses of house wine, and four of the Cicchetti little snacks/open faced sandwiches were only forty five euro!
