The kind of simple and minimalist restaurant restaurant you'd expect to find in Melbourne or Sydney is right here in Hervey Bay and it is without doubt the best Japanese you'll find outside of Japan.The menu is small (one Beef, one chicken and one lamb dish) as well as a few sides (think pickled vegetables, salads and in winter baked potato and corn) and there is usually a seafood or lamb special (if the scallops or cuttlefish are on the specials list you must have them). They also serve homemade soft serve ice cream and it's amazing.I like that the menu is small because it allows for attention to detail and every single bowl of food we have had here melts in your mouth after coming off the charcoal grill. The dishes may seem simple but their flavours are amazing and they are worth every single cent.A must for locals and tourists alike
