Went for dinner the other night and really enjoyed the food. The Beef was particularly tasty and the prawns also very tasty. Looking forward to going back as they are doing a great job of bringing some real interesting food to the bay using fresh local produce. View all feedback.
I've recently come back from a holiday in japan and the food at this incredible little gem is just as tasteful as the food in japan. There is nothing worse then going to a Japanese restaurant and the food not tasting like real Japanese food. Thankfully this place is not like most that I've visited, I am just obsessed! I have to recommend their potato salad, it is to die for! You two are so lovely, I wish you both the best! :
Simple, amazing delicious food. Had the beef and it was to die for as the pricing was reasonable and a very simple menu of 3 dishes to choose from chicken, beef or pork. I will definitely be back for more......
Delicious! Beautiful flavours and good size serves. Staff were lovely and helpful. Great spot along the Esplanade with the big windows to watch the world go by. Definitely recommend.
What a fantastic find in Hervey Bay!! A simple menu perfectly executed, great value for money and something unique to the area. Highly recommend!
Have been dieing to try Tanto and tonight we were able to. Well I can tell you my husband had the Angus beef and I had the salt/pepper pork, miso soup and pickles. It was gorgeous. It is cooked in view of everyone. The service was great, friendly and efficient. Very reasonably priced and just the right portion size. This restaurant/takeaway is so good for Hervey Bay. Cannot wait to go back. Thank you Mr and Mrs Tanto
