A friend brought me some Tropical J from Uniondale all the way to Philadelphia, PA and this was hands down the best Jamaican food I’ve ever had. The j pork was so juicy it was still delicious and perfect even after microwaving it. The spicy shrimp was divine! Y’all made me homesick for real. Thank you thank you. View all feedback.

I really try to support the very few caribbean restaurants in the area, but this one is pretty disappointing. In this day and age to only accept cash, but to also still charge taxes on the food is robbery. It also limits what you can order because people don't walk around with a bunch of cash on them. This is the second time I ordered 1/2 jerk pork I waited with anticipation only to get a bunch of scrapes , you know when they chopp the meat scrape the scraps off the chopping block , thats what I got half pound of “dog food “ I’m so dissatisfied.. why would they serve that to a customer ? I’m pretty sure they knew what they were doing , as I said it’s the second time they did this.. I called them told the lady working , after some back forth she hung up on me … very rude individual . this restaurant has gone to the dogs. .. I will NEVER order or buy foo. From them again … I took pics throw the whole thing in the garbage..
I wait in like for porridge , they say okay , I see her in the back filling two containers then the cashier comes back and tells me it’s no more . They also let a Jamaican regular customer skip me . Clearly a lot of prejudice it’s fine I won’t ever eat from your establishment since you treat Americans like second class citizens while being in America
New York is quickly becoming one of my favorite food cities.
They need to have better customer service in there. The girl in the front is rude and acts like it’s a problem if you want to order food. If you don’t wanna work, STAY HOME! place also needs to be cleaned better.
Jerk chicken was extremely dry. I've eaten at 3 other locations, but this one chicken was not up to standard.
