Description

Hidden downtown favorite with a sunlit courtyard, this café serves standout brunch — lemon ricotta pancakes, breakfast burritos and chilaquiles draw repeat fans — made with local ingredients when fresh. Patrons praise the friendly staff, clean space and tempting cocktails, but experiences vary: service and kitchen speed can be painfully slow, waits long, and management/ordering issues and occasional ingredient substitutions have upset customers. Prices skew high for inconsistent execution, yet the relaxed outdoor vibe and solid coffee keep locals returning.

The entire restaurant has a great vibe, from the food and atmosphere to the service. I really enjoy stopping by their café for a coffee whenever I'm in the area. It's definitely worth it!

The coffee here is delicious, and I always stick to the EMMA. The ingredients are listed on their website, but some of the baristas aren't familiar with this drink. The staff is...

We've been living in Turlock for four years, and this was our first visit to the restaurant. The food was fantastic, the service was great, and the ambiance was lovely.

Oh. My. Word. Let me prepare for a delightful local brunch. Get there early and wear a cute outfit (because everyone else does). We had the chiliquiles and chicken waffles. Everything is super fresh and handmade. The flavored lemonade was delicious. The quantity of food given makes the prices worth and you will need a to-go box!The atmosphere is light-filled with a botanical theme. When we first arrived, the music was incredibly loud. On top of so many people talking and a running fountain, it was too much. Someone happened to turn it down and it was a relief. I hate having to yell at my dining companions when part of the reason we go out to eat is to chat.Staff was IMPECCABLE. Refills, napkins, whatever were delivered with alacrity. And they were just so pleasant and kind. Kid-friendliness: Yes. Wheelchair accessibility: Tight space between some tables, but ultimately there are multiple sections that can easily accommodate a wheelchair and a clear path thru the middle
