Every time I go to Torredembarra I try to go to Hostal Coca for lunch, located in the old Carrer Nou (now renamed after the Indian and Torrença philanthropist Antoni Roig). This hostel has been operating for two centuries and always with the same Coca family, of which it is already the 5th generation that runs it. In 1820, Joan Coca and his wife Mª Àngela opened this establishment as a post house, where the stagecoaches coming from Barcelona and Vilafranca stopped. With time and new railways, the means of travel changed and this establishment adapted and became the hostel it has been ever since. They have a traditional cuisine, without extravagances and made with well-cooked and well-presented local products. Finally, the service is familiar and attentive, always concerned to please the locals and the travelers who go there to have a fork breakfast, to make vermouth on their terrace or to have lunch.

I'm so touched by such warmth. I can't even put my satisfaction down on paper. Living room really authentic Spain, thank you for letting me experience that. Great team, really nice, 5 stars plus. Thank you for allowing us to be here.
